On March 7th 2020, the 5th annual Eagle Career Day took place at the University of Pittsburgh’s campus.  We were lucky enough to have our event just before the COVID-19 outbreak.  Our primary goal is to inform and educate these young men and women about all the options available, so they can make an intelligent decision about their future.

Don't miss NESA Pittsburgh's 3rd Annual Eagle Axe-Throwing Event!

Eagle Scouts had such a great time the last 2 years, we decided to make this an annual event.  Don’t miss the 3rd Annual Eagle Axe Throw.  Axe-throwing is huge in Canada. On April 21st Eagle Scouts will take turns throwing axes at a target at Throw Axes in the Waterfront Complex in Homestead. Throw Axes is generously helping to sponsor this year's event and are also offering a 25% discount to any Boy Scout at any of their locations.

Next NESA Event is our Fall Membership meeting on November 14th

Join us Thursday, November 14th and meet with other Eagle Scouts from across the Pittsburgh area. This exciting event (for Eagles 21 and older) will include an update on all of the benefits offered to NESA members.

Scouting was put to the test over the course of three years, when a research team from Tufts University worked with the Boy Scouts of America’s Cradle of Liberty Council to measure the character attributes of both Scouts and non-Scouts — all with a goal of better understanding the character development of youth as it was happening.
