NESA’s Eagle Career Day is a success!

On Saturday March 12th, 49 Eagle and Life Scouts learned just how extensive their education opportunities are. Organized by the Pittsburgh Chapter of the National Eagle Scout Association, lecturers provided  attendees with information about college selection, financial aid, free education in the Military, and career pathways via vocational education. The University of Pittsburgh provided the Katz School of Business as a venue, and Pitt rounded out the day with a terrific lunch which was followed by a panel discussion.

NESA launches the NESA Ambassador Program

One of the missions of NESA Pittsburgh is to re-engage older Eagle Scouts, to bring them back into the scouting so we can help elevate the activities of the Laurel Highlands Council. One of the ways we’re trying to do this is through the NESA Ambassador Program.

NESA Camp Staff Jobs

As an Eagle Scout, you are in the top four percent of all Scouts.  You have shown that you live every day by the Scout Oath and Scout Law. You know the fun and friendship that Scouting provides. You are an example to others and that is why the Laurel Highlands Council, Boy Scouts of America needs you.  The Laurel Highlands Council is looking for exceptional individuals like you to serve on the summer camp staff of Heritage Reservation, Camp Seph Mack, and Camp Guyasuta.

Do you know an Outstanding Eagle Scout?

The Laurel Highlands Council’s National Eagle Scout Association Committee is looking for Outstanding Eagle Scouts!  We need your help to recognize these men.

The NESA Outstanding Eagle Scout Award (NOESA) is a prestigious recognition granted by the local council’s NESA committee to Eagle Scouts who have demonstrated outstanding achievement at the local, state, or regional level.

The NESA Career Network Program

NESA Pittsburgh now has a great way to share your career knowledge with other Eagle Scouts.

The NESA Career Network Program will enable Eagle Scouts to contact other Eagle Scouts to learn more about working in specific careers.  The Program will be available to Eagle Scouts of all ages.  We anticipate questions from high school and college students as well as questions from adult Eagles in the workforce.
