NESA Career Network News

Earlier this year, a recent engineering graduate reached out to NESA Career Network Program Chair Dave Thompson and asked for help finding his first professional job. After a phone conversation to learn about the graduate's background, experience and interests, Dave reached out to a fellow NESA Board member who is active in the placement industry. A quick introductory meeting was arranged, several job interviews were conducted, and the graduate was placed within 90 days.

A college student with a joint computer science/finance major asked for advice on his course of study and how to make contacts in those fields. He was matched with an advisor in each field, and they have had periodic group meetings in a local coffee shop to make suggestions and answer questions.

We are eager to help younger Eagles prepare for and advance in their careers. If you would like to learn more about the Program or be matched with an experienced advisor, please contact Dave Thompson at davidthompson1062@gmail.com.
