On June 4th several NESA Pittsburgh members traveled to the Laurel Highlands Council’s Heritage Reservation. They helped with distributing boats to the various camps and rebuild tent platforms for the wheel chair accessible camp site. These two items combined with the rest of the work performed during Beaver Day made the day a success for having Heritage Reservation ready for summer camp to begin.
NESA Pittsburgh headed back to Heritage Reservation on July 23rd to work on a conservation project followed by a Bar-B-Que on the beach of Lake Courage. On the 20th of August, we’ll be at Camp Anawana to continue the dam clearing and some other work where the Camp Rangers have asked for NESA Pittsburgh’s help.
